That moment came to her when she attended summer camp in Chicago, for reporters and anchored “Kid News!” That experience set her on an incredible journey as a TV host. Rachel started out in radio at her hometown’s Q101 Chicago’s Alternative. You may have even heard her as a radio DJ at B97 in New Orleans. Then she got a taste of working in a newsroom at ABC 7 Chicago. All of this, combined with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyola University New Orleans, landed Rachel a job as a producer & entertainment reporter at Fox News Baton Rouge. Local news continued to call her name, this time taking her to Fox 35 Orlando.
After several years producing hard news, it was time to pursue her passion for hosting. Rachel took a great gig at the nationally syndicated morning show, The Daily Buzz, as their on camera health correspondent. She also managed the corresponding website, BodyChecklist.com, produced the daily TV content, and tried the latest workout trends, like glow in the dark spinning, for the viewers. A year later, the company asked Rachel to co-host and executive produce their new syndicated show on Oxygen, Life Love Shopping. It was a dream come true to interview celebrities, share tips on making the most of your life, and covering the latest fashion trends with the audience and her co-hosts every weekday morning.
Now Rachel Kopczyk lives in Hollywood, California working as an on camera host, producer and writer. In her spare time, you can find Rachel on the nearest dance floor, exploring the streets of Los Angeles, and cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams.
